An initiative to promote human rights of Palestinian refugees.
Web, youtube, twitter, facebook, projects in primary and secondary schools.
#Noarrinconemoslapaz is a creative advocacy campaign, helping to give voice to Palestinian people and make sure their fight for peace is not marginalized, not “cornered.”
We began by developing a campaign which is taking place at various primary and secondary schools, aiming to educate young people about the conflict and give them the chance to demonstrate their point of view by painting the corner (and only the corner) of a mural. The idea is that they experience the difficulty of having too small a space to express what they want. Their freedom is limited, representing the limitation experienced by Palestinian people, in hopes that the students will empathize with the refugee situation.
We produced a short, informative video that shows, in a very visual way, the living situation of many refugees and problems they are facing.
We have created profiles on major social networks to stimulate action and generate traffic to www.noarrinconemoslapaz.org, an informational site which displays the murals created by students as well as users who also want to illustrate and share what they think are marginalized or “cornered” human rights.
